The Martian Notifier requires Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) in order to pair with your Android device. In order for your TracFone to be compatible, the easiest way to check would be that the original Android OS on your TracFone needs to be 4.3 and above.
For example, if it comes with Android OS 4.1, and you managed to upgrade it to 4.3, that will not be compatible.
Alternatively, you can check the tech specs on your mobile device to see if it has Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), or Bluetooth 4.0.
